Böhm-Solar Equipment Technology GmbH based in the Thuringian Zella-Mehlis provides leading technology and state-of-the-art solutions for the installation of semiautomatic and automatic solar module production plants.

In close cooperation with the business partners Böhm-Solar develops, manufactures and distributes single components as well as turn-key solutions for the production of assembly compatible solar modules and panels. The cutting edge technology of the equipment offered by Böhm-Solar is the ultralarge Double Laminator with a total lamination area of 24 sqm. Special modules with a maximum size of 3 m x 4 m, i.e. each 12 sqm can be laminated with this STAR 4000DD on two levels. Thereby we enhance the production capacity and minimize the required floor space. The XXL laminator will be able to produce modules with an annual capacity of 60 MWp.

It can produce both crystalline and thin film modules. This high flexibility in technology as well as the geometrical design of the modules is absolutely unique in this market segment. The standard laminat-thickness is 40 mm.  Another innovative feature is the laminate thickness of max. 220 mm which can be implemented as an option by constructional modifications and thus allows the lamination of curvatures and the production of multiple function modules. The fully automatic handling system guarantees a continuous and breakage-proof production flow. A cooling press can be ordered as an option. The laminator can be delivered as double- and single version.

The ultra-large solar modules produced with the STAR 4000DD can be used for the integration into building facades, as currentgenerating sun shading systems or for the complete or partial covering of roofs.
